I am really excited. I have just received the raw ingredients to make my first batch of Organic Lip Balm. The first two flavours will be Vanilla and Coconut. I have chosen these two flavours as they are my favourite. Vanilla is always a fresh and reviving flavour while coconut always reminds me of summer holidays and lounging by the sea or pool.
I would love to share the products with everyone. However after a lot of careful research and a lot of telephone calls I have discovered that before you put any product on to the market you must have the products Risk Assessed to ensure they meet the requirements set down by the government and the EU. I was a little worried about this requirement to start with, but now I am pleased about the whole process. It means that once I have finished making the product I know that it is safe, it’s organic and I have the authorities on my side. I don’t think I will have a certificate to show everyone but it does mean that EdaLouise products meet all the legal requirements set by the Cosmetics, Toiletry & Perfumery Association (CTPA).
